1. Eligibility

• Open to postgraduate students, fellows, consultants, and healthcare professionals in critical care and allied specialties.
• The presenting author must be registered for Mahacriticon 2026.
• Each participant may submit multiple abstracts.

2. Categories

Oral Presentation

Original research with significant clinical/scientific value. Limited slots; selection based on scientific merit.

Poster Presentation

Original research / audit / case series / interesting case report. Educational or quality improvement studies allowed.

3. Abstract Structure

Abstract must be structured under the following headings:

• Title – concise, informative (avoid abbreviations)
• Background / Introduction
• Objectives
• Methods
• Results (include key numerical data)
• Conclusion

Case reports may use: Background, Case Description, Management, Outcome, Learning Points

4. Word Limit & Format

• Maximum 500 words (excluding title & authors)
• Font: Times New Roman, size 12
• Line spacing: 1.5
• Do not include tables, graphs, or images
• Use standard abbreviations only after first definition

5. Author Details

• Full name of all authors
• Presenting author underlined
• Institutional affiliation
• Email & mobile number of presenting author
• Ensure spelling accuracy; details will be used in certificate

6. Ethical Requirements

• Studies must follow ethical guidelines
• Mention Ethics Committee approval where applicable
• Confirm patient consent for case reports/images
• Plagiarism or duplicate submission will lead to rejection
